We drove to Airdrie to attend June and Barry's wedding this past weekend. The weather was beautiful, but too hot for my liking! June went to Honduras with Jason way back in the day, with Canada World Youth. She's in a suburb of Calgary, called Airdr
ie. It's about 3 hrs to drive there from Edmonton, so it made for a long day for us and the kids. We didn't attend the reception, unfortunately, as it would have been too hard on the kids since it didn't start until 7pm. We really couldn't afford a hotel and eating out, so we opted to attend the wedding and support the bride and groom.
Fiona and Jason even managed to geocache on our way back from Calgary... a dress and fancy shoes didn't stop Fiona as you will see.... She found it before Jason made it into the wooded area! Smart girl, that Fiona!!!
